A Hand of Hope in the Adirondacks


North Country Ministry (NCM) is a faith based, not for profit outreach organization which provides assistance and advocacy without discrimination to anyone in need in our service area.

NCM was created to serve the needs of rural communities in Warren County. Initially centered in the towns of Lake George, Johnsburg and Warrensburg, our services have been extended to the surrounding area.  Our mission is to provide a "Hand of Hope" for those who need help to function in their daily lives or to improve their quality of life. 


NCM serves over 1000 people monthly over an area greater than 650 square miles in rural Warren County in New York's Adirondack Mountains.

Services Provided:

  • Supportive Counseling, Advocacy and Referral
  • Clothing and Furniture Distribution
  • Emergency Assistance Fund
  • Baby's Clothing, Equipment and Parenting Support
  • Adult Living Units and Housing Needs
